Keith J. Matot

Keith began his passion for Fire Protection and Security in 1992 after graduating from Alfred State with a Technical Illustration Degree, and landed his first job in the industry at ASSI, in East Aurora, NY.

He worked as a Systems Designer, designing Fire Alarm, various Extinguishing Systems and Fire Sprinkler Systems until 1995. His passion for the industry helped him to be promoted to Project Manager, Service Manager, Systems Sales, Sales Manager and also held a seat on the Board of Directors at ASSI.

After 13 successful years with ASSI, Keith accepted a position with Great Lakes Building Systems as the Service Manager. He developed and grew the service department for almost 6 years and helped GLBS earn its first Notifier Diamond Award. He then accepted a position in September 2012 in the Building Systems Sales department as a Systems Integration Specialist.

Keith is currently responsible for Design, Sales and Implementation of various Security Systems that integrate Access Control, IP Video and Intrusion. He has helped GLBS earn its Gold Certification with the Honeywell Prowatch, as well as Platinum certification with Honeywell Intrusion and Video systems.

Keith holds several certifications that include AssaAbloy Aperio, Vicon, DMP, Brivo, AXIS, Honeywell IP Video, Intrusion, and Fike Video Smoke Detection. He is also Enterprise Certified with ProWatch by Honeywell.
