Great Lakes Building Systems, Inc (GLBS) was founded April 24, 2001 by John F. Wojdan (President) and William I. Blanchard (Vice President). Between these two entrepreneurs, they hold the following credentials:

38 years of experience in fire alarm/suppression and security systems in Western, NY including: Design, Sales, Installation and Maintenance.
NICET Level IV in fire detection design/application
NICET Level III in fire suppression design/application
AAS Fire Technology

In May 2006, we welcomed Keith Matot to our staff as Service Manager. Keith comes to us with over 14 years of experience in the Fire Protection industry. With extensive experience in Fire Alarm and Fire Extinguishing systems. Keith is NICET Certified and carries several training certificates from Fike Protection Systems and other manufacturers. Keith carries on our commitment to the best service money can buy. Taking GLBS service to the best in the industry. Keith is a welcome addition to our management team.
